Acupuncture
The first acupuncture visit consists of an extensive interview in which
the practitioner asks many questions regarding health history, diet, lifestyle aspects, symptoms and
complaints. In addition, the pulses are taken (there are twelve according
to Chinese Medicine), and various points are palpated to diagnose any energetic imbalance in the patient’s body-mind.
The treatment then begins with the insertion of small, sterile acupuncture needles. The patient generally experiences little
or no pain, and can actually expect to feel quite relaxed. A treatment plan is discussed which can include subsequent visit
and dietary and lifestyle changes according to the patients core imbalances.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy techniques induce a light to heavy state
of relaxation and interact directly with inner consciousness to find causes of core issues and problems in the patient’s
life. Hypnotherapy can bring about beneficial changes in both physical and emotional conditions and behaviors. This process
of activating a patient’s inner resources without conscious interference can empower and bring about lasting change.
Used in synergy with Acupuncture, the affects can be profound!
